For those who aim to leave this world in better shape than when they began their journey, you can reduce the environmental impact of your cremation with our exclusive EnviroLiner option. With this option, you are buying the casket liner only. Your liner will be secured inside a high-end casket constructed of beautiful, recycled native timber with an oiled finish.

In addition to the environmental benefits, the EnviroLiner casket liner option allows for your loved one to be displayed in a beautiful, high-end casket at no extra cost.

How It Works

Your loved one lies at rest inside the fabric-lined casket liner (EnviroLiner)
The liner is then secured inside the beautiful Recycled Solid Native Timber Casket for display at your viewing¹
The casket outer gets reused, for as many times as its condition remains unblemished, for transportation and display purposes
At the crematorium, the casket liner is extracted from the casket outer and your loved one will be cremated only in this liner
The casket itself is only cremated (together with the liner and its occupant)
Please note this option is not suitable for larger persons³

By reusing the casket outer, this has a significant reduction on the cremation’s environmental impact.

This casket is available as an option for our Traditional Cremation Package and Funeral Cremation Service Package only. It is not offered as an individual item.

Please note when using our EnviroLiner option:

Viewing – we must insist that viewings take place at our premises in Pakuranga, Auckland.
Service – we must insist that your service is held at an agreed location (i.e. church) or one of our standard venues within Auckland – click here for details.
This option is offered conditionally and at Souly Funeral’s sole discretion. Restrictions apply, including (but not limited to) the intended occupant’s physical size.
