The Souly Service Package includes traditional embalming, Kilkenny Casket (and casket upgrade if preferred), venue of choice (most often an Auckland Cemetery of choice), Celebrant and all documentation as listed. This is your traditional funeral service however we have not included everything so you can customise it further and make the traditional service option much more personalised and at the same time affordable. We can help you as much as you need with this option, we are here to help and you only need to tell us what you require.

    Doctor's Fee (if required)

    If the person passes away at a Resthome, Hospice or at Home there will be an extra charge for doctor's fees, from $250. No charge at Auckland City Hospital, Middlemore, Northshore Hospital, and Waitakere Hospital.

Please note:

  1. Preparation – Traditional embalming – Post Mortem Embalming from $250 (see our terms and conditions).
  2. Viewings at our premises are limited to 1hr, and an extra $250/hr. Viewings can also be at your home or a pre-arranged location within Auckland, extra costs will apply.
  3. Doctors fee payable from $250
  4. We generally use the following venues for a funeral service:
    • Mangere Lawn Cemetery;
    • Manukau Memorial Gardens;
    • North Shore Memorial Park;
    • Waikumete Cemetery;
    • Purewa Cemetery (additional fees from $200 apply); and
    Our funeral service is 1 hour unless otherwise arranged. We are happy to use other venues if organised and agreed on prior to funeral service. A Travel Fee of $150 may apply for transfers beyond 40 km travelling distance from our Pakuranga Funeral Home (E.g. Orewa, Whangaparaoa, Pukekohe, Waiuku)
  5. Transfer of loved one to ceremony location and cemetery.
  6. We have extra charges for Post Mortem cases and people over 100kgs (see our terms and conditions).
  7. Weekend fees from $250 apply to Funeral Services
